Community Focus
Working with Clockwise Credit Union over the years has been incredibly rewarding, offering the opportunity to contribute to projects that create genuine community impact.
One of our most recent collaborations was the development of their annual Social Return on Investment Report, helping communicate the wider value and positive outcomes of the organisation’s work.
Setup & context
Social Return on Investment (SROI) is a framework used to measure and communicate the wider social value created by an organisation.
For Clockwise Credit Union, the report helped demonstrate where the organisation is making the greatest impact within the community, while also identifying opportunities to grow, strengthen and improve its services further.
The challenge
SROI is about measuring value in a much broader sense than financial return alone. While the report draws on case studies, member experiences, feedback and financial data, much of the information is still presented numerically.
The challenge was to transform this complex data into a report that felt visually engaging, accessible and easy to understand, while still communicating the real human impact behind the figures.
As the report was produced in collaboration with an external organisation, it was also important to create a document that felt clear, consistent and aligned with Clockwise Credit Union’s values and communications.
impact & results
Kai-zen Change for Good CIC, the external organisation responsible for the member surveys and data analysis, were delighted with the final report.
“This is excellent work. I love the way you have translated the technical into simple, human language and ensured important key messages are clearly conveyed.” - Natasha Jolob, Director
